About the Artist

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Emily received a BA in Fine Arts from UCLA, with a particular interest in conceptual and installation art. After graduating, she immersed herself in computer graphics and subsequently returned to UCLA to undertake the Masters program in Film and Animation (both traditional and computer-generated). She was employed for years as a computer graphics artist and animator, and has followed this up with a career in storyboarding. Emily has created commercial, tv, music video and film boards for such major studios as Fox, Disney, and Universal, as well as for assorted advertising agencies. She was also employed by Motion Artists, Inc., an L.A. based storyboard agency. More recently, Emily has become involved in illustrating children's activity and storybooks for publication. She now lives in North Carolina with her husband and children.
